TT Pro League side Caledonia AIA announced Tuesday that it completed the signing of Grenada international Kithson Bain.

The highly-regarded forward has been included in the squad for Wednesday’s CONCACAF Champions League match against visiting Toluca at Hasely Crawford Stadium.

“I think I have a lot to offer the club and I’m very excited because honestly, playing here is something I always wanted to do and I’m thankful Mr. (Jamaal) Shabazz is giving me the opportunity to showcase my talent in Trinidad,” said Bain.

The 5’ 10” striker is known for his physical style, but confesses that he expects the TT Pro League to be a challenge.

“I remember playing many of times against Trinidad and while I would have my way with them, I can always remember working hard to get those goals,” commented the former Tranmere Rovers player.

“But that’s what I like to do; work hard at the top and hopefully my presence here can help Caledonia win the league and finish the Champions League on a high note.”

Caledonia has never won in six all-time Champions League outings and has scored only four goals.  Head coach  Shabazz called Bain’s signing as “something we desperately need right now”.

Bain is best remembered for his performances in the 2008 and 2010 editions of the Caribbean Cup, where he finished as the joint top scorer in both tournaments.

He helped Grenada to qualify for the Gold Cup in 2010, but suffered an injury that caused him to miss the CONCACAF event.
