Always a treat to local football fans—defending Digicel Pro League (DPL) champions Central FC and 2015 First Citizens Cup champions W Connection will square-off from 8 pm on Tuesday (Nov. 24) at the Ato Boldon Stadium in their first Couva-Clásico of the 2015-16 league championship.

The Couva-rivals have met on two previous occasions this season when Central unseated three-time consecutive Digicel Charity Shield holders Connection 1-0 in September, but the Savonetta Boys fired back by dethroning the two-time defending First Citizens Cup champions 2-1 in the 2015 final in October.

Tuesday’s Round One Match Day Four DPL clash will also provide a preview to the semi-final round of the Toyota Classic where Central and W Connection are carded to meet from 6 pm at the Hasely Crawford Stadium on Sunday 29 November. The Toyota Classic semis also involves Defence Force against defending champions San Juan Jabloteh.

Defence Force will also be in action on Tuesday at the Ato Boldon Stadium against Club Sando from 6 pm and simultaneously at the Mahaica Oval, home side Point Fortin Civic will welcome North East Stars.

Round One Match Day Four of the DPL continues on Thursday with a Hasely Crawford Stadium double-header when Morvant Caledonia United tackle St. Ann’s Rangers from 6 pm and Police FC are against Jabloteh from 8 pm.
