Michael Grayson the assistant coach and youth Technical Director at CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh has left the club.

The former Arima Senior Comprehensive school teacher has been with the San Juan based club for the past two years.

Speaking to ttproleague.com Grayson confirmed his departure saying, “yes, I am no longer with Jabloteh, the major reason for my leaving the club is that I have been reinstated as a teacher at the Curepe Junior Secondary School and so would not have been able to make a full time commitment to the club and so the board of directors took the decision not to renew my contract”.

The coach of the Secondary Schools Big Five Champions St Augustine Senior Comprehensive stated that he would be settling back into the school system first and then be looking at his options in terms of coaching at the youth level in the TT Pro League.

Grayson went on to thank San Juan Jabloteh for the opportunity, “I am very thankful to the management of San Juan Jabloteh for the opportunity to have coached at the club, it was good period for me in terms of my development as a coach and I look forward to the next challenge that lies ahead for me”.

Head coach of San Jabloteh Terry Fenwick told ‘ttproleague.com’ that he was a bit surprised and disappointed that Grayson’s contract was not renewed but that is how it is in professional sport. The coach wished Grayson all the best in his future endeavours.
