Yafeu RogierPolice FC felt the vehemence of W Connection on Thursday at the Gilbert Park Ground in Couva, particularly that of U-15 forward Yafeu Rogier in their Round Two Match Day Six fixtures.

Connection scored an overall 17 goals on Thursday against the “Law Boys” in all three age groups—U13, U15 and U17 divisions.

Connection, leaders of the U13 and U15 standings, got off to a comfortable 4-0 win in the U13s with Daquon Foster (13th minute), Judah St. Louis (21st minute), Jarod Gordon (40th minute) and Terrell Williams (70th minute) getting their names on the scoresheet.

The Couva based club then hammered an 8-0 victory over Police in the U15 age group with Rougier leading the way with a beaver-trick and taking his overall tally to 30 goals already this season.

Yafeu Rougier registered items in the 10th, 26th, 55th and 57th minutes. While Jabari Mitchell (14th minute), Nicholas Dillon (60th minute), Michael Basdeo (67th minute) and Jodel St. John (69th minute) chipped in an item each.

Connection third on the U17s standings, then slapped a 5-0 win over Police FC to end the day with Neil Benjamin Jr. netting a double with strikes in the 37th and 47th minutes following Rondel Phillip’s opening item in the 6th minute. Jaffet Williams and Kareem Garcia followed up with items in the 49th and 72nd minutes respectively to close off the scoring.

Joe Public, 5-0 winners over FC SouthEnd leads the U17 standings with 45 points, followed by inactive second positioned Adam’s Construction San Juan Jabloteh(35 points) and Connection in third with 33 points.

Joe Public also enjoyed U13 and U15 victories over SouthEnd.

Tahir Matthews, Kyron Fortune, Renaldo Francois, Akiel Matooram and Naim Lewis were on target for the Joe Public U13s while Malachi Ashby scored the lone SouthEnd item of the day.

And in the U15s, a pair of first half goals by Marcel Springer(20th and 41st minutes) handed the Macoya based club a 2-0 win.

Joe Public sits second on the U13 standings with 37 points, nine points behind leaders W Connection.

But a mid-table sixth position on the U15s with just 19 points, a massive 26 points away from leaders Connection(45 points).
