Malmö turns down trialist

LDB FC Malmö will probably not offer a contract to the Trinidad & Tobago trialist Tasha St. Louis.

As she returned home to Trinidad this morning after a week with the club, assistant coach Martin Sjögren told press that he was impressed by her skills, but that she lacks the strength and pace needed for Damallsvenskan competition. She wouldn't have made a 16 player match squad, he said, and to earn a contract she must be able to make the starting eleven.

No decision has been made though and there will be a management meeting during the weekend. The club might be able to set her up with another team, Sjögren said.
