T&T women’s senior international Ahkeela Mollon has signed a season-long contract with Swedish Elittetan (second division) club Kvarnsveden IK, in a return to the country which introduced her to European football.
The 28-year-old midfielder signed on March 1. The league, which was established last year comprises 12 teams, vying for a place in the top flight Damallsvenskan. Kvarnsveden comprises a strong line-up of four Swedish international players and one European Cup player.
