Trinidad and Tobago Senior Women’s team head coach Randy Waldrum is all for improving the depth of the National Senior Women’s Team ahead of the CONCACAF Final round of qualification for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

The draw is set for tomorrow in Miami and Waldrum does not intend to make decisions based on who T&T faces next but instead he has plans to bolster the team wherever possible. He has already invited Swedish-based attacking player Ahkeela Mollon to join the squad in the coming weeks.

“We’re not closing the door at any point. Of course we will have a base squad but that doesn’t count out anyone who we think can bring some value to the team and fit into what we have going at the moment,” Waldrum said.

“I think a lot of people believe this is the country’s best chance to date of qualifying and I’ve seen what it means to the players and the people and I’m totally in it for the long haul. We’ll work together throughout towards trying to realize this dream,” Waldrum added.

T&T were crowned Caribbean Women’s football champions with a 1-0 win over Jamaica at the Hasely Crawford Stadium last Tuesday.
