FLASHBACK - T&T's #19 Kennya Cordner on the attack.

Betzaida Ubri scored her second goal in as many games and led the Dominican Republic to a 1-0 upset of Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday, sending the Dominicans to the finals of CONCACAF's women's Olympic qualifying.

The result also earned a spot for Cuba in January's eight-team finals in Vancouver while eliminating the Trinidadians.

Ubri, who gave the Dominican Republic a 1-0 victory over Bermuda on Thursday, scored in the 51st minute against Trinidad and finished her side atop Caribbean qualifying Group B with nine points from three games.

Trinidad, which beat Bermuda 5-1 on Tuesday and routed Dominica 14-1 on Thursday, finished in second with six points.

Haiti was the first team to qualify from the Caribbean, winning Group A with seven points. Cuba also finished with seven points in Group A but was second on goal difference. However, with seven points, it qualified for the third Caribbean berth in the CONCACAF finals over Trinidad.

In an earlier game, Cheyra Bell scored the opener and finale for Bermuda, leading it to a 5-0 victory over Dominica that ended the Bermudans in third place in Group B with three points. Dominica finished last with its third loss and was outscored 22-1.

Kennya Cordner finished the Caribbean qualifying as the leading scorer with 10 goals - nine in the victory over Dominica.

The Dominican Republic, which didn't allow a goal in three games, Haiti and Cuba will face the three North American qualifiers: host Canada, the United States and Mexico; along with two Central American sides in the January 19-29 CONCACAF qualifying finals.
