The Trinidad and Tobago Under 17 National team hosted a successful one-week camp in Tobago recently. They won two games and drew one to complete their three-game series unbeaten.
The National team used the camp as part of their preparations for their upcoming campaign in the 2010 Under 17 Girls World Cup final and it was a huge success, according to an official from the team. The World Cup Finals will be hosted in Trinidad and Tobago giving the National team automatic qualification.

The Soca Princesses played a warm-up match against St. Clair Coaching School Boys Under 14 team that they won 1-0.

Against the Tobago Representative team that is preparing to compete in the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation 2009 League Championship tournament they won their first encounter 2-1 while the they battled to a hard-fought two-all draw in the second encounter.
Under-17s, All-Stars start new season.

The T&T Under-17 women’s football team will come up against a local All-Star team to kick off the 24th season of the $150,000 Women’s League Football hosted by the T&T Women’s Football Association today. The local Under-17 women’s team will use the league as part of their preparations for next year’s Fifa Under-17 Women’s World Cup here in T&T.

The clash between the Under-17s, coached by Norwegian Even Pellerud and the All Stars, coached by Arnold Murphy (Petrotrin) and Kevin Hoyte (Real Dimension), will take place at Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya, from 4.30 pm today. This will be preceded by a parade of all the participating clubs in the Premier and First Division before WFA president Sharon O’Brien.

The first round of matches in the Premier Division are set for next Saturday, with defending champions Real Dimension meeting the T&T Under-17s at Mannie Ramjohn Stadium from 6pm. Joe Public tackles Tobago FC and last year’s First Division champions, San Juan Jabloteh, meets Central United in the other matches.

First Division:
Defence Force, Sweaters FC, North Coast United, Point Fortin Pioneers, UWI, Malick City, Young Hearts, Trincity Nationals, Mayaro Spurs.
