Trinidad and Tobago's women's Under-17 head coach Even Pellerud has announced  a 23-player squad for today's training match versus the T&T women's senior team from 4 p.m. at Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya.

The women's game is the first of a double-header, with T&T's Soca Warriors tackling Jamaica's Reggae Boyz from 6 p.m.

"After a series of scrimmages between these two teams, it's going to be quite exciting to see how the teams do in a more formal setting--being one part of the evening's double-header. We hope people attend early so they can cheer on their favourite players/team," said Pellerud.

"We have always appreciated the senior team's willingness to play us and we have always learned from matching up with the senior veterans as they have a lot more experience in the game and more sophistication when it comes to skills and tactical awareness.

"As usual, we will try and compensate with using our fitness, speed and youthful passion. I can guarantee a very lively, competitive game between the two teams...and the teams would be very encouraged by a setting of fans in the stands," the Norwegian added.
