Carib rebounded from its 1-0 loss to Valtrin United with a 2-1 win over Tunapuna Titans in the latest round of matches in the Emerald Apartments and Plaza Eastern Football Association Arthur “Jap Brown” Premiership Division on Saturday.
Knockout champion, Valtrin (30 points), led by a Dwight Critchlow hat-trick, stayed in the title race with a 5-0 demolition of WASA. Fourth placed Real Maracas, a further two points behind Valtrin, swamped T&T Coast Guard/Air Guard 7-0. In First Division action, Upper Santa Cruz stayed one point ahead of Malabar Superstars after a 1-0 win over cellar placed Crowne United.
