MATCHWEEK seven of the Ascension Tournament is set to be feisty at the top of the table as title contenders Police FC and Defence Force seek to claim the top spot from the hosts, La Horquetta Rangers.

POLICE FC moved into second place in the Ascension Football tournament with a 5-1 hammering of AC Port of Spain at the St James Police Barracks, on Sunday.

Two goals from Tyrone Charles ensured that Terminix La Horquetta Rangers maintained their unbeaten run and their top position in the Ascension Football League against Real West Fort United 5-2 in the feature match of a double-header at the Phase II Recreation Ground in La Horquetta on Friday night.
