Newly signed Bienne Hatchets goalkeeper, Zane Coker, arrived in Switzerland on Wednesday after a lengthy trip across the Caribbean and Europe.

The 25-year-old custodian will begin his campaign for the local club when the 2015 Suzuki Swiss Beach Soccer League resumes in the third week of July.

During this period, the former St Ann’s Rangers and Caledonia AIA player will travel to Portugal with Bienne Hatchets club coach, Sascha Feuz, where he will view the Swiss National team go for glory in this year’s Beach Soccer World Cup.

Coker will be using this time in Portugal to also familiarise himself with some of the team’s players, who also represent his new club back at home in Switzerland.

The former Trinity College student was recently selected for the Swiss club after displaying great ability between the goalposts at the Bago Spots Tournament in Tobago.

He will spend the next three months in Switzerland, vying for honours on the local beach soccer circuit until the league concludes on September 6.
