Senior forward Nathan Regis has been named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week for Week 2 of the men's soccer season. Regis scored three goals in his two matches last week against some of the toughest competition in Division II.

Against Palm Beach Atlantic, an Elite 8 team a season ago, Regis scored twice in a 5:44 span at the end of the first half to change the game from a 1-1 tie to a 3-1 Pfeiffer lead. The Falcons went on to defeat the Sailfish 5-2 and extend their winning streak to 28 games, the second longest stretch in Division II history.

On Sunday, Regis tallied the Falcons lone goal in a 2-1 loss at No. 4 Lynn in a matchup of the past two National Champions. Regis' goal in the second half cut the deficit to one but the Falcons were unable to net an equalizer as the winning streak was broken.

Regis and the Falcons return to action on Saturday as they open Conference Carolinas play with a home match against Southern Wesleyan at 7:30 p.m.
