Canadian-born Rick Titus signed a contract with the Battery on March 12, but didn't get clearance to enter the United States until this week.

The Charleston Battery has agreed to terms with two more players for the 2003 A-League season. 2001 A-League Defender of the Year, Rick Titus joins the Battery from Major League Soccer’s Colorado Rapids. Jamar Beasley comes to the Battery from Italian side, Puteolana; prior to Puteolana Beasley played for four years in Major League Soccer.
