There had been interest from Bury in me before I agreed a loan deal from Bolton. It was quite a while ago, but I heard that Bury wanted to take me on loan.

Unfortunately nothing came of it back then, so I went to Bristol Rovers. I finished a month's loan there and Bury came back in for me.

They asked me if I wanted to stay until the end of the season and I agreed straight away.

Bristol Rovers wanted to keep me longer, but that's another story. I wasn't being used there and was only used twice off the bench. It was hard.

I enjoyed my first game for Bury and I thought the Grimsby defenders looked a little tired towards the end of my first game.

I thought if I could get on then, which I did, then the defenders would hate it and I could show a few people what I could do.

I really enjoyed it and hopefully I can play more games and get a regular place in the team.

I had one chance against Grimsby, but I was a little tired once I had got into the box. I couldn't get my leg around the ball to swing it at goal.

It was my first day at Gigg Lane on Good Friday and I can't believe how welcome the players made me feel. I feel a part of the club already, it's brilliant.

I'm just going to keep trying as hard as I can and see if I can score some goals.

It's been frustrating when you've not been playing, but I'm confident I can prove to people what I can do."
