FOLLOWING his dismissal for a foul at Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday night, it was hardly a surprise when the paperwork arrived at the Racecourse confirming a three-game suspension for defender Silvio Spann.

This means the Trinidad international will now miss games against Salisbury City (3 Oct), Grays Athletic (17 Oct) and Stevenage Borough (20 Oct).

As the offence was Serious Foul Play, he is also banned from any non-first team matches during this period, which means he will also be ineligible for the reserve game against Accrington Stanley on 14 October.

Silvio is the second Wrexham player to be red carded this season, following on from Frank Sinclair's early exit against Oxford United for a second yellow card.
