Striker Kenwyne Jones should be fit to face Aston Villa at the Stadium of Light tomorrow.

Jones is suffering from a shoulder problem but Steve Bruce has confirmed the injury isn't serious enough to keep the player out of the midweek clash.

The five-goal striker was substituted five minutes from the end of the 1-1 draw with Portsmouth on Saturday.

"Kenwyne was sore after the game on Saturday but he should be fine for Villa," Bruce confirmed.

But the Sunderland manager also revealed that midfielder Boudewijn Zenden will again miss out with a hamstring problem.

He joins John Mensah (calf), Anton Ferdinand (knee) and Craig Gordon (knee) on the sidelines.
