Nigel Henry is back with the Puerto Rico Islanders

The Puerto Rico Islanders announce that Trinidad and Tobago’s central defender Nigel Henry will wear the orange jersey once again for the remaining 2010 USSF-D-2 season and CONCACAF Champions League.

Henry was a key member of the Islanders successful defense in 2008 and 2009. A former T&T international, brings back vast USL and European experience having played for the Hershey Wildcats, Toronto Lynx, Charleston Battery, Montreal Impact, all from the USL and Kiruna FF of Sweden.

The Islanders will face the LA Galaxy in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CONCACAF Champions League, this Wednesday August 4th at 8pm at the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium in Bayamón. The Orange Troops beat the Galaxy 4-1 in the first leg in Los Angeles on July 27. Tickets are for sale in Ticket Center and Soccer Gol in Plaza las Américas.
