Lester Peltier Lester Peltier scored his first professional goal in Europe on Saturday when he netted for Slovakian club AS Trencin in its 6-1 rout of FK Bodva Moldava nad Bodvou.

Peltier, formerly of San Juan Jabloteh and Ma Pau, entered the match in the 58th minute for his second appearance since joining the Slovakian First League leaders earlier this month.

He struck in the 83rd minute to put Trencin 5-1 ahead. Peltier later expressed delight with his first goal.

“I was really happy with getting my first goal for the club and my first goal out here in Europe. I’ve settled in and I was really delighted to play a part in the team’s victory.

It’s not going to be easy to earn a first team spot right away but I think with the hard work I’m putting out, and with the goal now, hopefully I can keep it up and get into the starting team,” Peltier said.
