What player when his team made it to the WC final, refused to play.

You could tell me why if you want/

cruyff had real stones to do that. dutch could have won that year too.

I read that in the 1974 WC his uniform only had 2 stripes as opposed to the usual 3 stripes from adidas that all his teammates wore.

He was personally sponsored by Puma.

Daryn, that is true. If you look closely at the Dutch team poster you will see thta Cruyff jersey, pant and sock has only 2 stripes while the rest of team has 3 stripes.
