Jerrel Britto's second trial at Portsmouth FC
« on: March 09, 2009, 08:19:18 AM »
Blessings to all!
Just to let you know, that, Jerrel left on Saturday March 7th for his second trial at Portsmouth FC. Another one of our U17 players, Cordell Cato also went with him.
As we all knew, Portsmouth expressed interest in seeing Jerrel another time & so he is there presently.

They're in our prayers. I was wondering why Jerrel wasn't considered for U20's.

Late last year Jerrel was asked to train with the U20's and he did attend just a few sessions. However, the U17's are also preparing for their WC qualifiers at the end of April in Mexico.

I wonder if Harry saw him at Portsmouth and might be interested in taking him over to Spurs for a trial now?

What about Radanfah Abu Bakr?  He was on trial at Swansea but didn't play in their last match.  I assume it didn't work out?

Update...........
Both Jerrel and Cato has been training with the U18 Team at Porstmouth. I have been speaking to Jerrel and he is coping quite well. He says the sessions has been exciting and they have also done some training at the gym. Today was their sixth training day.
Jerrel's dad left for the UK today to join him, we expect that by the end of the week we will get some information on their performance as they return home to National duty this Saturday.
We continue to pray and believe for the best.
