Title: 23-0 Lord what a score coah should be shame
Post by: KND2 on August 20, 2007, 08:08:41 AM
I feel the Dominica coach should have some class and tell the players to knock the ball around.

What is the point of scoring 23 goals against a team especially in a youth U15 tournament.

cannot see the point of this.!

Dominica hammered the British Virgin Islands 23-0 in yesterday's round of matches in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Under-15 Youth Cup competition.

At the Marvin Lee Stadium, captain Errol Blaize led by example, notching seven while Mc Chris Mourance netted five and Hakeem Hazel slotted home three.

Also in the goalfest, Dwight Green grabbed two while there was one goal apiece for Dillon Alexander, Sydney Jules, Nigel Sanderson, Mikey Edwards, Juniro Mason and Malcolm Joseph. The win was the largest by a team in the tournament so far after two days.

Also yesterday, there were wins for El Salvador, Antigua & Barbuda and the Netherland Antilles.

Today the competition takes a break.

The point is winning by as much as possible. Me eh see nothing wrong wit that.

Is only in America I does see anybody complaining bout "running up the score".

Well, its youths we talking about. They hungry to score goals and they need to get in the habit of scoring and having a killer instinct. If they score 23 then good for them.  Its no fun for the team thats getting hammered but sometimes lessons in life are just hard like that.  Who knows, the coach might have asked them to ease up the other team, but is youths we talkin about so they probably can't control their desire to score.

Aren't both these teams in different groups??

Group B: Antigua and Barbuda, Cayman Islands, Haiti, Grenada.

Group C: Barbados, Bermuda, Netherlands Antilles.

Group D: British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname.

Group E: Dominica, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Maarten.

How come they played eachother?

Remember Jamaica did't show up so Jack call the AVI and tell them to pick up some boys U15 and fly them down
