Scoring at least 3 unanswered goals against the US is a tall order, especially since our identity has been defensive in all our games since GC. Should Eve stick to his guns and aim for a moral victory (0-0 or 1-0 win) and keep playing his style to build the chemistry with the focus on the single elimination game? Or go all out in attack to try for the 3+ goals to give ourselves a chance of qualifying now?
If we can't play expressive football at home, where can we play it? Anguilla? This is 2023; if there's only one trick by a pony and you see a fella standing on the sidelines dressed as a ringmaster ... what questions do you ask yourself? Is this the main event or is the pony self-taught? Or, where is the circus?
The coach's toolkit needs to be a bit more diverse here. All this patting on the back is for nought without production.
I think the answer is both. Wasn't long ago that the US was properly engaged at the HCS.
