Schedule changes already and without notice. Wasn't the CCL schedule out a while ago?

Anyhow....

I guess to accommodate W Connection as they play today in the CCL, the games originally carded for Saturday will now be played on Friday and the games that were carded for Friday is now on Saturday (flip, flop).

20:09:13, 8:00pm, North East Stars v Point Fortin Civic FC, Hasely Crawford Stadium

SATURDAY

21:09:13, 5:00pm, W Connection v Police FC, Ato Boldon Stadium
21:09:13, 7:00pm, Central FC v Caledonia AIA, Ato Boldon Stadium

Jabloteh 6-5 St Anns Rangers

Jabloteh scorers: Kerry Baptiste 12' 50' 70'  Rennie Britto 66' 80' Shane Hospedales 84'

Rangers scorers: Clevon Mc Fee 15' 21' 23'  Kennedy Isles 44' Jelani Peters 89'

Imagine being McFee. You score a hat trick in 8 minutes and you go in 4-1 up at half time, then concede 5 goals and lose 6-5!!

North East Stars 0-1 Point Fortin

                             Bevon Bass 90'+2'

So true FS and they got big sponsors, I am sure that does not site will.

Rangers conceed 12 goals in two games.

Maybe One+ should have invested in Central instead.

They need to call by Anthony Streete.

Or maybe Gally might be a good choice too.

W Connection, Point Fortin still top.
T&T Express Reports.

DIRECTV W Connection and Point Fortin Civic FC remained neck and neck atop the Digicel Pro League after both won on Tuesday night at Ato Boldon Stadium. But defending champions Defence Force lost for the second time and are near the bottom, while last year’s second-placed team Neal & Massy Caledonia AIA had to settle for a 1-1 draw after conceding a goal three minutes into injury time against Police FC.

Point Fortin Civic FC only managed a slim 1-0 win over bottom of the table St Ann’s Rangers in the first match of the double-header at the Couva venue. Andre Alexis got the match’s only goal when finding the far end of the net in the 16th minute, after meeting Andre Toussaint’s pass. Rangers goalkeeper Terrence Lewis made several good stops in the match.

Later in the evening, W Connection built a three-goal lead after a quarter-hour, but only just held on for a 3-2 win over San Juan Jabloteh after conceding two second half goals. The match featured the return of W Connection midfielder Joevin Jones as team captain, as well as defender Daneil Cyrus. Both were recently suspended by the club for playing minor league football in Carenage.

Colombian striker Camilo Ortega Andres Diaz put W Connection ahead in the eighth minute from inside the area and defender Mekeil Williams made it 2-0 in the tenth when blasting in a weak clearance from the San Juan club.

Striker Hashim Arcia, who fed Diaz the pass for the opening item, then made it 3-0 in the 14th minute by guiding a Jerrel Britto cross into the back of the net. Keeper Keston Malchan later produced a save in the 30th when he got glove to a Diaz effort, keeping it out, and in the 49th minute the Jabloteh goalie cleared a Kurt Frederick effort for a corner.

Rennie Britto pulled a goal back in the 69th minute when he pounced on a giveaway by Connection at the top of the area and let off a crack at goal, giving a fully stretched goalkeeper Julani Archibald no chance.

Jabloteh further reduced the deficit in the 81st through Baptiste, who notched his seventh goal of the season thus far. Britto’s (R) corner eluded the Connection defense and found Baptiste, who scored at the back post for a second consecutive match.

At Hasely Crawford Stadium, 24 year-old Tobagonian forward Trevin Caesar registered a spectacular second half hat-trick to lift the third positioned North East Stars to a 3-1 triumph over defending champions Defence Force. The former T&T Under-23 footballer scored in the 51st, 81st and 88th minutes, and was only interrupted by a 66th minute item by Defence Force’s Josimar Belgrave.

The real measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.

Central F.C. 1 - Police 4   :cursing:

Well, you know you can't stay unbeaten for ever, but this really was a crash and burn performance from Central. It looked like they just hadn't turned up. 3-0 down at half time and it took until 87 minutes to score a consolation.

It's not a panic situation, but the real test of their character will be their performance vs North East next Friday.

Some days you just tune off but yea if you played 3 games in a week then you have no time for tactical preparation or rest, so I guess it was always a risk

I don't agree. Plenty teams play 3 games in a week. However, you may see a drop in intensity, but good preparation should prevent disasters like this. I never expected to go the whole season unbeaten, but I never expected to get thrashed by Police!

Not many Professional teams play 3 times in a week - the stress it must put your players on can't be good
