When France went down 2-0 the French supporters started booing everytime they gained possession.
I eh know if Platini could save he friend job for much longer nah. One positive note was Ribery, he was busy

Argentine striker Carlos Tevez came on as a second half substitute for Los Albicelestes against France, and played a key role in their second goal, which was converted by Lionel Messi.

The Manchester United striker later admitted to the press that Argentina's national coach, the legendary Diego Maradona, is capable of motivating the squad, and this has made a huge difference.

Tevez said that even though he didn't start the game, Maradona asked him to give his best, and those words inspired him when he entered the field.

"Diego talks and you get goosebumps," explained Tevez, in declarations to Radio 10.

"It was a very nice match to find out where the Argentine national team stand. I'm happy because I thought the side were very solid."

Argentina picked up their second consecutive victory under Maradona. The first was a 1-0 win over Scotland in Glasgow late last year.

Los Albicelestes will be expected to continue their good run of results when they face Venezuela and Bolivia in two crucial 2010 World Cup qualifiers in March.
