I can't believe allyuh actually crying down Maturana here...a draw with Jamaica in de office is a BIG BIG RESULT!
Plus he SINGLE-HANDEDLY got us the RESULTS needed to qualify fuh de Hex with plenty points to spare...what more allyuh want...blood??   He has uncovered the deepest talent pool T&T has ever had, this should give everyone around the team a huge boost in confidence, I really can't see us finishing less than 3rd in the Hex.

I would put this down to 'after-game-shock' or ' that yuh trying to ease the pain of the loss.

But next time give some serious thought before yuh type nah.

T&T stole 2 points from JA on the road twice this year.  JA stole 2 points from us once.  Advantage T&T

So the two friendlies in Jamaica were for points. So what was the purpose of the 1-1 tie between Jamaica and T&T in this Digicel tournament? Shouldn't this 3rd tie today have qualify T&T for the Gold Cup since it's: advantage T&T.

If two teams (A & B) play 3 matches and all 3 matches end a draws but 2 of the 3 games are played at Stadium A who would you say as the advantage. Further more if both teams concede 4 and score 4 goals shouldn't the team with the most away goals be given the advantage. Not that it's anything to boast about but just for the  sake of argument.

I would go with C the game of importance. But that's just me.

Its not that difficult to understand. You believe that JA has the upper hand over T&T in 2008. The point was that its faulty to even suggest Jamaica did based on the fact that 2 of the 3 matches were actually played in Jamaica.

You seem to forget that most polls had Jamaica only making 0 to 4 points in the Group of Death. A group that would definately seen T&T not even making 6 points.

Thank your lucky stars that it was the May 2008 instead of November 2008 (which all the other football confederations used) FIFA ranking that was used for the CONCACAF World Cup draw.

Agreed! And 1 happened to be a friendly. But considering that T&T had to beat Jamaica in a more competitive atmosphere with a spot in a tournament at stake. Well! My national pride is not at an all time low knowing my team knocked my main rival out of a major competition.
