Lass and C Ronaldo were missed badly today...
Seville were running on overdrive from the first minute- they just didn't stop running tidal wave after tidal wave.
Adriano, Navas, Perotti & Fabiano were just too much...They will be a handful for any team.
Raul & Guti again proved that they are not good enough against quality opposition- don't know how it's so glaring but they still find a way in the starting XI regularly....
Kaka is not the Kaka that Madrid thought they were spending money on...Two years too late but I think everyone knew that...
Casillas, for the first time this season had to be the Casillas of old, and once again he made some saves today that were unf-ing real....If you saw today's game and still want to deny him as the best in the world in between the sticks, then it has to be something personal.
Madrid lost pretty convincingly and deservedly...They've been ok so far this season, but definitely no where close to the expectation, and a loss might be exactly what they needed to wake up a bit....
As much as possible, the starting XI should be:
Casillas, Albiol, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Lass, Alonso, C. Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema, Higuain...
Raul & Guti - regular corbeaux sweat (15-20 mins at most), and Copa del Rey.
Rotate the other Diarra and Gago in the middle hole every so often...and the same with Drenthe at LB, and give Granero some sweat from time to time to pack up the middle and rest one of the forwards
Shoulda never gotten rid of Robben...
See how they bounce back.
