Just called the official distributor of T&T kits in Trinidad and they 'haven't released' the new kit and 'sold out' of the old one. Anybody who tried to buy a T&T kit recently would realize that that is the official song, and T&T fans can't even buy our own kit. This is not a real team we supporting. This is a shell business for marketing certain pro league players (akin to how certain people who cyah drive no ass does pass the drivers' test). Imagine things so bad we looking back at the Tim Kee reign as the good old days.

It looks like theres a new sponsor, called Capelli sport. Looks like a company out of Germany. Just saw a post from the TTFA with Capelli sport tagged.

Steups them from NY/NJ

That is a small time company. Good for them if they expanding but we is a joke

Standing on its own, the idea of a combine in the US is a good one. I hope Stern finds a player or three to his liking.

However, those of us who have long called for the maintenance of a database of eligible players would suggest that the logistics of any such camp should be driven by the data, not by the tail wagging the dog.

Yes, better to do something rather than nothing, but this something could have been conceived without regard to who would coach the squad.

If we look at the symptoms and drill down, we'll find that this 11th hour nod to foreigners is essentially another manifestation of a rotten core at the HQ of football.

Jokiness all around

Greg Ranjitsingh signs for Orlando City in the MLS

https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018/12/19/orlando-city-sc-sign-louisville-city-duo-ranjitsingh-and-smith

TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Signings

Orlando City SC have signed goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh and defender Kyle Smith from Louisville City, reuniting the pair with head coach James O'Connor, the club announced Wednesday.

Ranjitsingh and Smith won back-to-back USL titles in 2017-18. O'Connor was head coach of Louisville from 2015-18, before being appointed OCSC boss in June.

Ranjitsingh, 25, made 81 appearances in goal and recorded 33 shutouts for Louisville since signing in 2015. He was a four-year starter at Mercer College, playing 81 matches with 363 saves and 27 clean sheets.

Smith, 26, joined Louisville in 2016 and made 95 appearances for the club. In 2018 he played more minutes than anyone else at Louisville City. He attended Transylvania University and left as the team's all-time leader in goals (47), assists (16) and points (110).

James O'Connor will begin his first full season with the club, which conceded a league-record 74 goals in 2018.

Deeks I feel you but use better examples nah.

Lampard went straight to a championship club and Dwight has applied for that level job in the past.
Gerrard went straight to Rangers. Not exactly slumming it.
Zidane coached Real Madrid Castilla in the Segunda B.

Dwight has been known to spend time conducting sessions with Man U reserves. This is similar to what Gerrard and Lampard managerial experience has been prior to accepting their positions. Now I not saying is anything sinister, perhaps Dwight does not have the aptitude or teams are afraid to take a chance on a player who was a known Playboy and regular tabloid fodder. Perhaps.

Maybe the conference teams don't compensate as much as his various appearance gigs and TV commentary does. In which case he is loathe to take the hard way around?

We need more players and fast to gel with what we have. A creative midfielder to complement Hyland's bustling, a few more defenders and a striker. Lawrence mentioned in his last interview when announcing the squad for this friendly that he's looking to recruit players from abroad and there should be two more in addition to Frenderup that should join by the turn of the year. I had a look earlier and noticed that Ryan Innis is now listed as a TnT national. Hopefully he's one of many to join up https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ryan-inniss/profil/spieler/183284

With respect to this Mr. Deeks

Realistically USL is probably at the same level as pro league in terms of quality? So they may be seeing it as a like for like switch for a local goalkeeper.

You really think so? And we have some much players playing there who does get pick?

By that I mean, they don't seem to struggle to make the "step up" etc. They seem to just ease right into it. So I'm guessing that it's similar to what they are accustomed to.

Yeah but that is still outfield players from Trinidad. Is not like TTFA scouting the USL in search of players with Trini heritage like they do in Europe etc.

I could agree with this somewhat. One could argue that it's only the top pro league players going over to that league and making it
