Dennis Lawrence has the best resume at present. Black ppl have trouble getting any job in every arena, and are held to high standards and accountability than their counterparts, even in their own countries, far less foreign. Get used to it. It’s what makes us stronger, better, faster and smarter.  Totally agree Lefty.  I dig how he walk out the MacArthur gig, oh you not happy. This gentleman life decisions/actions by many indications seem to be the Achilles heel of his football career. He needed a proper advisor at a very young age.  Then again, who am I to knock his successes. He did quite well still. But oh gorm…

yeah maxg, DL really getting he self more together, DY need to come down a notch or 10 and maybe reset ado d right things to boost he career

gawd, even after all these years Dwight still have name recognition, but his constant pining for the MU job  and stuff like what happen with MacArthur only tarnishing dat name, his best asset.......Dwight wanting the MU wuk is becoming a meme at this point and given his aforementioned weak CV...............well

Gawd* I understand all dat, try being black and slightly disabled with no playing career to carry yuh name, my genuine issue with Yorke is dat he in d earlies at least seemed not to keen on paying his dues in lower leagues, his profile atleast online  reads as woefully unqualified.....Eve CV would hold more water than Dwight

Add: Xavi Alonso make history after only previously Coaching 'B' and youth level teams ........DY coulda be further along if he hung his hat a little lower to start.....then carry on from there

Deeks, patriotism aside, you tink DY have enough juice to coach alongside Pep and dem fellas....based on on what body of work ???...........Kompany who lift Burnley out ah d championship couldn't make a note....and he had what could now be d greatest manager of all time in eye shot for years......Dwight needs to be working consistently and build a rep if he really want dat work one day

I don't think Eve is the one, but I don't get our obsession with conflating Trinidad with attacking football.......we have never gone beyond the region perpetuating that fallacy in terms of success........what Eve never showed was a concrete plan to get the ball off the other team......and it was often left to luck.........and after that never seem to have a concrete idea of what to do with the ball when luck granted it to us a lot of the time.........what I have see through recent years, is us look competent and even at times devastating in transition, I don't like passive low block defending.........but I don't think outright attacking football suits us either.......transitional football with a proper plan yo win the ball on the other hand with more of a mid block might be a decent compromise......but yeah dais jus me

been saying for over ten years now on this site that modernizing coaching techniques and practices readily available to anybody who can watch read and understand, yet Trinidad football remains this monolith of d same exploitable deficiencies for decades now that any and all teams have learned to and will always exploit. is always d same shit.......no unit play(team defense\attack), no pressing only cowardly backing off, no link up, no defenders that actually good on d ball, hundreds ah yards ah space between we lines ........no conditioning because we doh do dat and because we play slow ass football in we leagues when tempo raise we wilt.............

I jus lost d enthusiasm for TT football because d script is always d same........we not even consistent in CFU no more because we coaching like 1986 in f**king 2024.......I jus fed uo

should have been more though James really fluffed a golden opportunity on the break.....snatched when he had time for at least one touch to make some room, he had time even though d defender was on him

All this team have is ah structure there is no attempt to win d ball, even directly on top d box we just waiting for something to release d ball.......dangerous and when we get it d reaction is so slow that d US just easily get back into dey pressing shape

Still doh get how Eve keep saying we defend properly in all dem game we looked good for 2-3 luck was just on our side with loose balls....we were largely passive and waiting for d other team to make a big enough mistake on d ball...we never try to force or pressure mistakes  dey jus fall in we lap.....what I will say is dat this is d most clinical I have seen us in a while...we chance conversion promising....but dat way we defending.........

It is interesting to note while we are playing a defense to counter setup, we have conceded more than Panama on the other hand we have scored more, we should be trying to force more turnovers, right now we are simply hoping to get the ball
