Birchall played well... had a a constant battle with Liam Lawrence...pulled a fair few fouls for the team too... he had a shot just over bars from 18 yards out...

good performance.

At first i was worried about Birchall getting regular playing time at this club, but now i am so happy about the move he made and the fact that micky adams penciled him in as a starter.

I am happy that we have starters at the clubs now!!

ps: ah wonder what is the latest with Marvin Andrews!!??

ah love it!!

gillingham - 3 starters
wrexham - 2 starters (well from next week)
coventry - 2 starters
walsall - 2 starters

ah love it!!

It's good to see Stern on the scoresheet and I hope he sets the Championship ablaze this season.

That said the Stern John cheerleaders need to realise that it's just one goal and theres a long season ahead...consistency is the key.

He reported late to pre-season training, so I'm assuming it's because he may not be as fit or sharp as they would like him to be.
