Noone from Spurs has actually gone on record saying that Berbatov did not have permission to talk to United. The quote came from a source. With all the hoopla that Levy and ENIC have been making this past month, you'd think that they would be the first to go national and say that United were disregarding the rules. Instead we have a 'Spurs are said to be upset'. Noone has stated  who said what from their end.

Man Utd complete Berbatov switch

Manchester United have signed striker Dimitar Berbatov from Tottenham in a deal worth £30.75m.

The deal sees Fraizer Campbell going the other way on a season long loan.

Spurs also announced they will not pursue their official complaint to the Premier League which accused United of pursuing 27-year-old Berbatov.

Dey better have reason to sing that a lot because i not totally sold on paying 30 million for a temperamental 27 year old striker..though i do acknowledge his class.
