At least Beenhakker like Wise and he made the call, not us, he included Wise in de team out of ALL the other standby players who also got the chance vs Grenada, secondly, as bad as Wise perform I will still pick him over Theobald and Wolfe (as of now), dont know what the future holds, but Wise did let me down as I was expecting more, he couldn't even beat his man and that was something he was good at.
Did Wolfe even play in any world cup qualifiers.
How do you rate Theobald performance in the world cup.
HOW ALLYUH MEN SO CHUPID
ALLYUH JES MAKE URSELFS LOOK LIKE FOOLS
ALL DIS SHIT TALK BOUT BRUCE EATING HIS WORDS ETC...CUZ AUSTRALIA GET TRU DOH MEAN SHIT

IS frigging Cantona tuh blame is he wey set up Arena, talking bout.........'AMER-RI- KA DE WOOL NO LONGER LOOOK FOOWAD TO PLAYIN YOU' ....and Bruce gorn wid dah one an tell he self dey go beat real people ,nut knowing is cut arse for dem
Arena's tactics were way off today. He tried to accommodate both Convey and Beasley by playing Beasley on the right, which is not his preferred flank. I thought that Reyna was too deep to be the playmaker, and that the pace at which they played was way too slow for a game of this standard. Their defending was really poor. How the hell do the two center backs allow Koller to get between them to score that first goal? Eddie Jones needs more time against Italy, cause he can cause some damage. We need the zone to do well, as much as we deplore the arrogance of Arena.
I just glad to know that eveything cool between he and Alex. The split really was nice, but it pays to not burn yuh bridges. Maybe if the relationship continues, it could open avenues for other T&T youthmen in the future.
Point well made. I is a man couldn't forgive Alex for the way he treated Dwight in the end, (as well as other players, like Barthez e.g.) but I have to consider that you make a very good point.
Palos have a real man utd tabanca for real boy. he acting like is Utd alone who wanted Ballack... Wenger wanted him too. So to did inter, Juve and milan but Chelsea holding de dollars these days so thats where he will end up. Few players in the world today play for a club for sportiing reasons... a few.. most try to maximise income in the short playing time that they have.
Make no mistake Utd have a great deal of catching up to do but the CL run shouldn't cloud the fact that Assnal ent won nothing for the season yet but a date to get a cut arse from Barca in Paris.
small ting on why Brazilians use nicknames in case anyone wanted to know the history. Brazilian nicknames are just part of the culture. People like to show their affection and closeness to others by using nicknames in all walks of life...and it reduces social inequalities. Even the President is knowna nd refers to himself by his nickname...Lula.
When football was first played in Brazil it was a sport for wealthy whites. Blacks, indians, mulattos, as well as poor whites were not allowed to play organized club football. There was no law saying they could not play, but certain social barriers were in pace to make sure they were not present. For example, the game was kept amateur. Since you could not make money playing football, poor Brazilians would have little or no time to play as they had to work. It was the Portuguese settlers who first started breaking the mold by using non-white Brazillians and giving them jobs in their businesses and paying them enough so they could play on the Portuguese teams (Vasco was the first club to sign blacks in Brazil). The Portuguese teams dominated and became huge fan favorites. So another barrier was put in place...A rule was set up so that players had to be able to sign their names. Since most non-whites were illiterate and poorly educated, this was supposed to keep them out of the game. Instead, they found a way around it..they would just learn to sign abbreviations of their names or their nicknames...for example, it was simpler to learn how to sign Didi instead of Valdir Pariera. Until then, players were just known by their last names. Soon, white Brazilians were following their black counterparts and began using their nicknames as well. Now it is just the norm in Brazil, though mnay players still go by first names or last names...
Cool examples of Modern Brazilian nicknames:
Dunga - Dopey (as in the seven dwarves, because he looked like Dopey as a kid...still does kinda)
Alemao - German (because he had blonde hair)
Branco - Whitey (on one of his childhood teams, he was the only white kid on an all-black team...Brichall style )
Zico - (was known as Zinho..which means little one. One of his teammates thought his friend was calling him Zico...and it stuck)
Careca - Bald (he annoyed his mother so much because he liked a Brazilian clown called Carequinha (little bald one) that she called him Careca once as a joke, and it stuck. Funny, cause he was hairy)
Kaka - His brother had a hard time saying Ricardo, so he took the second syllable and said it twice..."CarCar' ended up becoming "Kaka"
Bebeto - His name is Roberto or Robert. Bebeto is the same as saying Bobby
Ricardinho = death
....not sure how much playing time he'll get, but he is definitely a secret weapon off the bench.....very much underrated talent in that squad
I agree..very underrated..Parreira probably had the most difficult choice in selecting a squad but he did a great job.
ricardinho is a boss player and I am surprised that he's still playing in brazil and not in europe but am still surprised he got picked given the large talent pool brazil has to choose from
Ricardinho was on the squad throughout the qualifiers.....no surprise that he got picked
Julio Baptista move to Real Madrid didn't help him get into the Brasil WC team.
Men like Renato, Belletti, and Edu (especially) could consider themselves a lil unlucky...but this is the toughest line up in the world to crack. Lil surprised that Fred made it in front of Luis Fabiano.
why no serginho as backup left back??
why no danny alves as backup right back??
but de team is a definite bomb
