The Pro League should consider a man of the match awards.

It might increase the intensity of the game?

The real measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.

Good idea! But the only way it will happen is if Central approach various companies to do a Sharks man of the match! No one else doing anything!

Imagine, yesterday I tried to put up 6 sail banners provided by Bankers Insurance and a guy from Police F.C. told me I couldn't because it was Police F.C.'s home game. Fair enough if Police had bothered to put out some advertising, but there was not a single board anywhere in the stadium - not even Digicel, the league sponsor.

I could see no advantage to the Central F.C. team by putting out sail banners, but by promoting Bankers Insurance, maybe, just maybe, another company may be motivated into supporting Pro League football.

These people with their petty shortsightedness are holding the game back.

So, I was kinda pleased to see those 5 goals hit the back of their net last evening!!

So yuh see is not just the FA is the total approach to the game that need an over-haul. People have to realize that progress for one can translate to progress for all.

When You put up those banners and another company seeing that, then they may start asking how they could do the same. But police eh care cause they must be cyah get sponsor (Ministry) so they eh care about no one else. Dog eat dog.

The thing about DF and Police, they are long term state employees, barring some kind of dismissal of these players. But what FS stated show why the league continue to suffer financially. Police  and DF money is guaranteed every month. The more private sponsorship will be good for the league, they would not have to depend on govt.

Usually there are 4 double headers on weekends and if stadiums are available, another 4 on Tuesdays. But there will be some fixture backlogs with us and Connection playing in the CFU - and also possibly from FA Trophy so we may play Tues, Thurs and Saturday from March
