TTFA to launch Girls U-14 League
TTFA MediaThe TTFA will be set to launch another initiative through the support of the FIFA Womens Development Programme. This initiative will be a Girls U14 League (TTFA G14 League). For this inaugural league, twelve teams are registered. Eight teams from Trinidad and 4 Teams from Tobago and is scheduled to start with a League Opening on Sunday 5 March 2023.
The main objectives for the league are:
Opportunity for younger girls to play outside of school
Opportunity for female coaches to lead teams
Opportunity to recruit players for the new cycle of the TTFA High Performance Programme
Growing participation of girls that play football
Creating club culture
