Title: Weather Conditions in Germany!
Post by: Clarke on June 12, 2006, 10:33:50 AM
An interesting comment was made in the USA game by the commentator, that England complained about the weather as a reason for a poor performance. Do you believe that the soca warriors being more accustomed to the conditions could be a factor that works even more in favour of the demise of England by T&T

Title: German Heat

I know i posted this before but it is even more interesting. Again the mention of temperatures in the high 20's and low 30's is what they are experiencing in Germany. And as a result teams that come from a tropical climate are more able to keep control of the game due to their being acquainted to these conditions. For instance Paraguay was in control against England despite failing to get a result. Togo has taken control against Korea just to mention a few. So i ask you all if you believe that the weather will further add to our success in this historic appearance in Germany for our dear Soca Warriors? I say they getting twice the heat. Caribbean heat from the Warriors and German Heat. Sounds like England may be in more trouble than they thought.

i really hope so, i was thinking about this, the first half would be very important, that's when England's energy levels will be high, as the game slows it would be more to our liking.

I believe the england players should be ok. It is not a question of ther fitness but health.
I do think it is unfair that players were not allowed water in some games, that could be seriously damaging to players.
even germany arent acustomed to this heat..its global warming i tell  u ! Most of the stadiums have no air conditioning..bcuz germany never hot!
even here in england it gettin hot around 28 degrees. THAT HEAT HERE!
in the france game henry looked tired, as did ronaldinhio for brasil..it is effecting alot. DAMN GLOBAL WARMING

The forecast in Nurnberg is for a rainy 20 degrees, so if anything the weather will work against us.
