Broken toe for Scotland
swanseacity.net
Swansea City striker Jason Scotland will undergo an x-ray at Morriston Hospital to confirm the extent of a foot injury that saw him limp off after scoring the winner to sink Huddersfield at the Galpharm Stadium. Scotland's 45th minute strike took his tally for the season to 20, extend Swansea's unbeaten run to 18 league games and extend their lead at the top to 14 points. But the winner came at a cost. "It looks like Jason has broken a toe in his left foot,'' confirmed Swans physio Richie Evans. "He will have an x-ray at Morriston Hospital to confirm the diagnosis.'' It means Scotland will not travel with the Swans squad for a midweek break to Barcelona tomorrow.

Scotland given all clear
swanseacity.net
Striker Jason Scotland has been given the all clear to continue his impressive strike-rate after limping off at the end of Swansea City's 1-0 win at Huddersfield on Saturday.
Scotland's 45th minute winner at the Galpharm Stadium took his tally for the season to 20, extended Swansea's unbeaten run to 18 league games and increased their lead at the top to 14 points.
But it was feared that the T&T international had broken a toe in the last minute which would have increased Swansea's injury problems.
But after an x-ray last night, Swans physio Richie Evans confirmed: "We've had some great news.
"We thought he'd broken a toe on his left foot, but the x-ray revealed no fracture. There was a dislocation there, but it won't cause him to miss Friday's game against Millwall at the Liberty Stadium.''
