Title: Socawarriors.Net Team of the week.
Post by: Flex on August 24, 2009, 09:50:30 AM
Last week T&T standouts.

Marvin Phillip - Man of the match performance for W Connection vs Real Espana.

Coneal Thomas - Played the holding midfield for St Anns Rangers well and even scored a goal despite his team going down 4-1 to United Petrotrin as Rangers defence collapsed.

Karlon Murray - Combined will with Dennis Lawrence at the central back for Jabloteh.

Dennis Lawrence - Solidified the Jabloteh defence well. They were lacking a central defender and Lawrence will definitely make a hugh difference.

Kevin Austin - Had a good game for his team at left back and played a full 90 minutes.

Aurtis Whitley - Back with a bang. Scored 5 goals in the past 2 games for United Petrotrin.

Ataullah Guerra - Had an excellent game for Jabloteh vs Caledonia. Apart from his temper, Guerra is coming along well.

Collin Samuel - Had a good game for St Johnstone and scored a 36 minute goal for his team, unfortunately they lost 5-2 to Celtics.

Lester Peltier - Scored a double to lead his team to a 2-0 win over Caledonia. Also gave a man of the match performance vs CD Toluca.

Devon Jorsling - Scored a hattrick for Defence Force as they route Police FC 5-1.

Kenwyne Jones - Had an excellent game for Sunderland and scored 2 goals that would eventually be the game winners.

Michael McComie - As much as I dislike his attitude as a coach, I must admit, he is doing a good job at Ma Pau as they now sit at the top of the Pro League.

Note - Off course there were decent performances from none T&T nationals at the Pro League. But this post is mainly for T&T nationals.

The Team

Marvin Phillip; Coneal Thomas, Karlon Murray, Dennis Lawrence, Kevin Austin; Aurtis Whitley, Ataullah Guerra, Collin Samuel, Lester Peltier; Devon Jorsling, Kenwyne Jones.

From the top

Coneal Thomas, Karlon Murray, Dennis Lawrence, Kevin Austin
Lester Peltier, Aurtis Whitley, Ataullah Guerra, Collin Samuel
                     Devon Jorsling, Kenwyne Jones
