Title: Dai Ailian - Trinidadian dancer in China
Post by: pecan on March 10, 2013, 03:57:10 PM
To quote the person who uploaded the documentary: "Trinidadian Madame Dai Ailian, is one of Trinidad's greatest icons. She co-founded the National Ballet of China and the Beijing Dance Academy"

I have never heard about her ..

Meh... I'm neither here nor there.  Doesn't seem as though she ever denied her Trini roots but seems like she gave more back to her "homeland" than to her home land.
