Lets hope some teams with the quality and support of Point Fortin apply! Guaya and Sando seem like natural candidates to me

In an ideal world those 2 would be prime candidates for the proleague. But the reality is, unless they have good fanacial structure for a 4 year run, I don't see them playing in the league.

How about a supporters led club kinda like Barca?

Big investment! But even at that rate you'd need more fans than we have at your average game... I'd have suggest something like at Charlton with Valley Gold - for £50/£100 you give money towards the youth set-up and have a chance at winning a lottery at every game, as well as priority tickets for certain games - but of course again we need numbers for that to give the desired results.

Can't get supporters to pay US$40 for a season ticket! But I like the idea of private investors but there is no prestige in club ownership here. It could come, if clubs can begin to attract transfer fees, but I feel it may just be for one or two fat cats!

That's the sad thing - we need to mobilise the Trinbagonian public before we can make this sustainable

Anyone know if any new teams joined up?
