DVD is set for mid FEB delivery on our current schedule, so that all who coming for Carnival could get. We will make it available online for US buyers, as well as in Trinidad, at locations to be announced (possibly KFC). It will be both VHS and DVD copy-protected, so sorry for all yuh pirates!

Also, there are other SW.net promotional things relating to the DVD project which I will concede on but which will mean $ to this site, which can't be discussed until they are finalized.

I will tell u that we're not doing PAL format until the second batch....so if u are NTSC - i.e US/Canada and Caribbean, you are ok - but by no means will we exclude the EURO market - don't worry. If FORMAT doesn't matter to you and you can cope, we will do it thru online...EBAY perhaps the orders will go out from DVD Central, here in CALIFORNIA. Those will be available right after the TRINIS at home get theirs first!

The boxset is an excellent idea, one which I have been trying to contact Mr. Fuentes about but he does not respond to my emails. Believe you me I have tried, luckily Ato and I go way back to Grace Gardens, so do diss the man with what he trying to do and that is to promote the country, AT LEAST SOMEBODY DOING IT!!

I am pleased to announce that during my 6:30am meeting with Mr Warner today, the project has received the endorsement of the TTFF, and he has promised to open the DVD up to markets I could only have dreamed of and also to have it featured on FIFA's website.You should try to contact ttff or proudfoot communications, who did the socawarriors web site for TIDCO. Make sure you get an image that is 300dpi in a photoshop, illustrator, or tiff.

Good questions. It was actually a great piece ah strategy by Panday and Warner. If de PNM go after Ato, a national hero and icon den dey cruising dangerous ground. Everyone in here plays football so it should be easy to see. I have been sitting on the bench wanting to play, badly. I am tired of waiting on promises to play by one team in particular, because quite frankly I really don't care who I play for, even if YOU do. Now that I have been given a chance to play, everyone is looking at WHAT team when clearly any scoring by anyone now will benefit those who we are entrusted to PLAY for.
Bottom line is as long as I am playing for Trinidad, stop being myopic and acting like it matters what form it comes in!

A PAL version was done as well as the NTSC version....so where-ever you are, feel free to order it without fear...ordering is really going to be able to be done from anywhere worldwide so my London brethren needn't fret. 10% will be given back to TnT Football and I have agreed to help by lecturing future TNT youth football teams in return for all the allowances they have made for me in doing this thing the way I wanted it. If you live far from FLORIDA, just know that the shipping is going to cost a bit, as is to be expected...
My apologies for being behind schedule, but doing business in Trinidad has been a learning experience, indeed. WOW!
I rather do it good than quick...(fellas all yuh should strive for that anyhow lol :rotfl:). The DVD is close to my original vision for it, a vast improvement over the TV version. Most importantly, everyone involved in it is a PROUD Trini - the soca artists, the original music supervisor, the editors, the manufacturers, the art the graphics, etc. No-one can say I farm this out to foreign to make it good - it is a good "MADE IN TNT" product.
I will be doing PROMO tours to all TNT communities in MARCH....starting with NY's WBLS - Dahved Levy (on TEMPO in TNT as well), and SOUTH FLORIDA, as well as London soon after (if all yuh warm that damn place up >:() so the word will get out - I appreciate those of you who have already spread the word already. The buzz on the street is definitely present - people have stopped me in town asking why "it ent ready yet".

DVDs shipped from FLORIDA yesterday so all US and Canadian orders so far are on their way. :applause: They are all autographed and from my "personal manufacturing headquarters" in FLORIDA, since I could no longer wait on the Trini product for the first batch of orders, and I wanted people to have their orders soon, so I did them myself. That's right - cases, discs, labels and the whole nine! :challenge: Just add that to everything else I have had to do to get this thing launched. Lawd.
All UK orders, save for one, have NOT been shipped....I cancelled/refunded them until I can figure out the PAL version issues, as well as the 50 bucks FED Ex is charging to ship from MIAMI to LONDON. Seems ridiculous. Anyone with a better solution please help your fellow supporters in LONDON by PMing me. The packaging is a bubble envelope that is 11 x 9 x 1 in and weighs under 1 lb.
P.S. Didn't mean to offend anyone with my warriornation/boldoninbahrain reference yesterday. I was making a joke at the expense of one person in particular, and I think it may have been misread as something else. I am a proud member (AMBASSADOR !) of the WARRIORNATION, and have the WARRIORS' DVD and all the headaches and drama that it took to make it, to prove it. Now that so many people will be receiving product this week, let me reiterate how important this site was in me going ahead with this project since it was never really my idea to do a DVD. If you can play an NTSC disc (computers usually can) without issue you can order one. FED Ex was charging a ridiculous price to me thru my shipping account for shipping to the UK (like 46 something!) but what I will do is use a much cheaper shipper like USPS. So the shipping that is being charged now will be reduced once you buy it from like $50 to maybe $9 or $10 via a c-card refund. Right now we have an issue with the PAL discs so it is hampering my attempts to really get into that UK market.

The 40% issue was when the price was $25...it has now ben reduced to $20 US, although shipping and handling is currently $8 to the US and CANADA so the discount will be there - we just havent figured out the logistics of how to get customer A who is a SW their discount vs customer B who is already buying or has bought/pre-ordered, at $20.

Me and CNC3 fell out badly over this thing so I not expecting them to nominate it....they think the DVD is too much me and not enuf them, even though I did ALL of the damn work...they think their footage entitles them to way more than it really does.
My approval/awards is from people emailing and writing me and also how well the sales are going...I know where this thing ranks in terms of TnT DVDs, and sports DVDs especially. That is all I need. Next week is a big week for this project because I am talking to some big stations who have seen it. Stay tuned.
