Uruguay always gives Brazil trouble and the Brazilians are definitely worried....They never like playing Uruguay and they are a superstitious bunch who've never forgotten WC 1950 at the Maracana. But Brazil has also had some famous victories over Uruguay, including the 3-0 Copa final win a few uears ago and the 2-0 Wc qualifying win before Wc 1994 when Romario returned to the side to score a double. This one will be tense..but I feel Brazil will come through.

MARACAIBO, Venezuela, July 9 (Reuters) - Defending champions Brazil will attempt to end a five-match winless run against their smaller neighbours Uruguay when they meet in Tuesday's Copa America semi-final.
Brazil always treat matches against the Sky Blues with a certain amount of trepidation and the matter of the 1950 World Cup usually rears its head.
On that occasion, Brazil needed only a draw to win the tournament on home soil but instead lost 2-1 in front of a disbelieving crowd estimated at over 200,000 at the Maracana.
It is the more recent history which is worrying coach Dunga at his players, however.
Since Brazil beat Uruguay 3-0 in the 1999 Copa America final, there have been three 1-1 draws - including the 2004 Copa America semi-final which Brazil won on penalties - a 3-3 draw and a 1-0 win for Uruguay.
'There's no doubt this is the most difficult game to date,' said midfielder Anderson. 'It's a classic, Brazil are always favourites but this game is going to be complicated.'
Saturday's 6-1 win over Chile in their quarter-final is not lulling the title holders into a false sense of security.
'The game against Uruguay will be different, Uruguay are not Chile,' said midfielder Elano. 'Uruguay are a good team who get better as the competition goes on.'
Uruguay defender Diego Lugano and midfielder Diego Perez both have minor injuries and were rested from training on Sunday but are expected to be fit.

Yeah Wagner could be frustrating- He's not Brazilian starting 11 quality...but Wagner plays a kinda post up game so most times he receiving the ball under pressure, and of late he's had some decent games sheilding and laying off...Mineiro on the other hand iz get under meh skin when he's make the routine plays look difficult giving away the ball under no pressure time after time.

It eh no disgrace. Dem thing happening in de game for ages now. Jes arks any of dem German goalies. Dem does specialize in dat from Schumacher forward. Is not like de Uruguayan GK was not doing de same thing. Bottom line it was a shit penalty. Whether de goalie was on de line or not, dat powder puff was coming straight to him based on de decision he made.

Brazil was terrible in the 2nd half. Uruguay made 2 halftime substitutions and Brazil never changed shape or tactics to deal. I happy Brazil in the final, but I feel bad for Uruguay. But that is football. At the end of the day..Uruguay best 11 could not beat a 2nd string Brazil ::)
Doni tief on the last penalty but refs never call that in a shootout. We've all seen it in just about every shootout...So doh hate on Brazil. It come like calling travel in the NBA..just doh really happen so. Extremely rare. They will call it during a game...never in a shotout. If you've seen a ref call that in a shootout, you in very raer company....and think about the history of penalties saved...you know yuh playing the arse of you think the keepers were on their line for most of those
Anyhow....Whoever plays Brazil in the final should feel pretty confident.
