the year they lost to Canada in the semis he and latas played
to me that was the best modern side we have ever put out
but he was hurt and didn't play that semi game...i think it was that...i remember some commotion going on about him not playing

he had to leave in the middle of the tournament to go and play for Man U.

Was allowed to come back to continue but was injured. Came back anyway and watched from the stand.
