What is the double standard?  Real never put a Ronaldo shirt up for sale on their website.

Calderon has asked Robinho to buy out his contract as stated.  The clause calls for 120 million pounds but he has agreed to accept 50 million.  Robinho is acting in poor taste by calling a press conference mere hours before the season opener.

But as I am sure I will hear - I am new to the site so I am not entitled to an opinion.

No, but they consistently claimed that they had personally agreed a deal with Ronaldo when in fact, they hadn't...

Chelsea have basically done the same thing, claimed to have signed a player that they haven't.

Really? He actually came out and publicly stated that Ronaldinho had signed with United?

I don't remember that. All I remember is United putting in a bid and thrashing out terms before he made a last minute decision to join Barcelona.
