When simoes came on board, he changed all our kick-off times to 2:30 PM, which accroding to him, was scientifically proven to be the hottest time of day in the tropics. It happens on football message boards all over the internet, particularly with opposing fans from rival teams. I can list at least 6 posters on this site who post / visit the various Jamaican message boards everyday. I can even tell you that there are many who post more frequently on the RBZ boards than they post here.
I guarantee you had it been Jamaica sitting at the bottom of the Hex just coming off a mauling in Honduras, we would have been subject to some serious PICONG (if thats the right word) from your fans. You have the benefit of a sideline view to see that the man was offside... Lawrence was looking at his goal. Could he tell from that angle that the man was offside or did he see Donovan pushing down the left side and two players, one of them being Altidore the other Dempsey rushing into the middle so he ran to cover. The ball was played back to the wing and Donovan pushed it onto Clark's feet. Tallest was actually the Defender who rushed last minute to try and close out the shot.
If he'd left the middle open gambling that Dempsey was offside and Dempsey scored all ah we woulda say he do shit by letting ah man run free towards goal.

What annoys me the most is that the US consistently gets 3 points from T&T whether they are home or in the HCS. When we match them as we did tonight we should come out with our points. Why the US who did not have a stellar performance leaving with all 3. steups the campaign over and what hurts the most is that we look like a team tonite. But the fact is just like the costa Rica game in Tobago we have left this game with nothing. We seem to have no edge to clinch these type of games and that is the difference between 5 pts and 10pts. El salvador, Costa Rica and against the US tonite we should have gotten all 3. Tight games yes, but to book tickets to a World Cup we have to win these types of games. I really really saddened. We are not scoring enough goals period! Goals change games and win matches.

Really impress with Samuel composure,control,passing and ablity to read the game. Dis is probable the best I see the defence play in a long time.

You ever hear about 12th man factor? The fans abondoned your team at a time when their support probably was needed most. If you lose to Costa Rica in the nextmatch, you might as well play the Mexico game in the Azteca.
Not a bad showing by the warriors... We lack that little bit of quality in some areas of the field that would help us to get a result out of games like this.
As usual Carlos was our best player. J Lloyd played well also... Tallest injected some leadership and composure at the back, Abu benefitted from having Tallest at his side, and the two horses in the middle did their best. Tinto was a bit disappointing and KJ though not terrible still needs to have better presence as far as options on goal go. Cornell was lively as usual and should have converted his lob...Spann was neither here nor there, and for once Ince wasn't scrambling to make save after save to keep us in the game. On a good day we would have come away with something from this one...Baptiste remains unproven, Scotty never gets more than the scraps to really stretch his legs, and K. Daniel again is stuck in 2nd gear.
Anyhow, campaign is over...we need to now establish some continuity in our program- give Latapy a chance to continue to develop. It's clear that he has a ways to go tactically, but I've seen some promising signs from him as far as our positioning on the field, our approach to the game and the way the boys carry the ball around the field. I think if we keep him in the position for long enough, he will improve in every dept as a manager, and we might be able to establish some kind of rhythm as a program and possibly see something resembling an organized, somewhat professional end product on the pitch for the first time in a long time.... When Yorkie gets his licenses, we could see two qualified European-trained coaches with the int'l exposure, know-how and respect in their field at the helm for T&T...Now just for the powers that be in the administration to f*ck things up in some way that we can't anticipate at the moment....
Next stop 2014.....

I don't know who plan the strategy for today's game? but it was well executed, i must say i was totally impressed, we finally got it together, but as usual, too little too late. now we know the formular tuh beat the USA, we should have no excuses next campaign.
Jlloyd was excellent! ah hope he sticks around, the fella made it look so easy. noel was brilliant, what ah work hosre, and his composure on the ball wasn't bad either. spann played to his strenghts and looked the spann of 2005 who played against bahrain, good job silvio.
tinto was very good on defence, he broke up a lot of plays in the midfield and supported spann very well on the right side, he also neutralized donovan with his speed, but was double teamed and contained in the end like he was ronaldo.
carlos was boss as usual, matter of fact the only weak links on the team tonight was clyde leon, daniel and scotty! leon kept giving away the ball time and time again wid his bad passing, what these coaches see in this guy anyway? i don't know,and don't give me the clean up man talk, i'm sure we have another clean up man out there who could @ least make ah productive pass. but all in all, very good stuff, well done latas.

Nah not true... Onyewu was good frustrated because the ref was giving KJ all de calls.
I have no complaints about de ref to be honest... linesman blow ah offside call but dat was it. Tallest get bounce late and fall like ah ripe mango... dat woulda been ah very soft penalty to give up, wasn't much contact to begin with.

Men was walkin for the last 10 mins.
I give the team a lot of credit but the USA played with a lack of intensity and did not pressure the midfield and backline for large parts of the game. Men had real time to pick passes and wasn't under pressure. I don't think our play was as great as people saying. I do however note less bubbling of the ball. The team as a whole first touch was much improved. Passing and organization on the pitch was way better. Men was actually running in spaces off the ball. Team selection was much improved. The team looked competent on the pitch tonight. If we look this competent against the faster Spanish teams then I would say Latas did a lot with the little time he had. We were in the game and could have won if we had taken our chances. I still find Glenn need to look for passing options sometimes. Jones fight wasn't there he stop running in the second half. If we were 3 down I could understand but we were in the game. Excluding the performances under Maturana I think this performance against the US was par for the course. We always feel like we had a chance and then the US takes the 3 points. Friendlies would have made a world of difference.

Bradley have to do what he have to do... I would do the same.. we could send out a U20 team but it wouldnt be fair to Concacaf even though I'm sure Latas will mix the team with young and regulars... that should be done
the incentive for the u20 players should be play well at the cup and get a chance to play in a WCQ away to CR and home to Mex
