‘Tigers’ honour former players.
T&T Guardian Reports.

St Anthony’s College hosted a “Back Home for Christmas” football match on Saturday at its Westmoorings Ground, Morne Coco Road, Diego Martin, to honour players who played in the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) and are now on a football scholarships to Universities in the United States.

Speaking on the number of players who have managed to gain scholarships to US-schools, after representing the “Westmooring Tigers,” school coach for the past 26 years Nigel “Grovy” Grosvenor said, “This is what it is all about.”

At the end of their school (football) career, the question is what happens next? The trophies, medals and hype last for a couple of weeks, but education is lifetime. Grosvenor also thanked corporate sponsor “Jus Grillin” for its continued support to the team on behalf of the school.
