Title: Television comparisons

I am going to buy a TV the day after thanksgiving, its call blackfriday and you can get good deals.

I want to buy a 50 inch.

Can anybody who know about TV's tell me what is a good tv to buy.

I know Samsung is top

And is LED better than LCD.

What other info allyuh could help with.

I have had good luck wit Sharp Aquos LCD TVs (http://www.sharpusa.com/ForHome/HomeEntertainment/LCDTVs.aspx). De Panasonic Viera line of Plasma TVs (http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/shop/Televisions/VIERA-2010-HDTV-Series.147542_11002_7000000000000005702) are also good.

All dis LCD vs Plasma bizness eh relly matter because unless yuh is ah hardcore videophile, yuh probably eh go notice de difference. Plus when yuh head bad everyting does look good.  :beermug:

My info may not be current, but these are the following things I look for:

LCD - 1080p, 120 Hz, High contrast ratio - 80,000:1, HDMI input.

lcd more energy efficient an less prone to burn-in an d visually quality ketchin up, dat plus plasma ent have no where to go improvement wise, more expensive to make and might actually be going d way ah d dodo....u might want to tink about dat especially when servicin and repairs come into d picture
