It starts already.

Pfister's appointment gives KJ some confidence.  Glad to see it.  I had a feeling he was gonna be scoring this weekend.

Glad to see KJ on the scoresheet. He's been having some good games as of late.  What is more encouraging on today's performance is that he played well away from home. Hopefully, he will continue next week @ Wembley!!

It seems like Pulis is allowing Jones more freedom to play his game (which sees him play more with his feet rather that mostly high balls)

Jones had two great shots on goal from outside with his feet today, one scored.

Re: Official: [2011 Matchday 4] Union v New York Red Bulls - April 9, 2011 - Pre/Dur/Post [R]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Was at the game, decided to re-watch the entire game and here are some things that jumped out to me:

-Keon Daniel played really really well. He seems to have really good vision and knows when to not force things. He made some really nice 1-on-1 moves to get free, and some awesome runs that unfortunately were capitalized on or not seen. Lastly he was pretty relentless on defense, he did a very good job dropping back deep and playing a lot like a fullback on the defensive end denying crosses from getting in and had quite a few occasions were he miraculously dispossessed players when it looked like he would be beat. I think we have found our new starting winger opposite Mapp.

He need to impose himself more, ah find he was ah lil bit timid. Maybe is ah confidence ting, and it will grow as he gets more games under his belt. It was refreshing to see him finally improve de defensive part of his game, but at de same time needs to show some hustle. Ah hope dey start using him for free-kicks and corners too.

Saw the Stoke City game and was impress with Jones, he made some good passes, had good control and now I hope he realise that if he shoots more he will score more, he has the strength to score bullets..

You have to remember Tallman that Keon accustom playing in-front of 50 people in the pro league and now he is playing in-front of thousands, he bound to be lil nervous....

Cooper brace earns Transvaal draw

Former national youth team winger, Sean Cooper scored two goals to earn Transvaal a 2-2 draw with Robin Hood when matches in the Suriname Premier Division continued at Andre Kamperveen Stadium, Paramaribo earlier this week. Cooper, who played locally with Futgof, bmobile Joe Public and Tobago United missed the enire first round of the league due to a hamstring injury but has now netted seven goals in as many matches for the Surinamese club. In the previous round, Cooper, also found the net in a 2-1 loss to table leaders Inter Moengotapoe.

With the draw on Sunday night, Transvaal stayed third on the ten-team table 24 points from 13 matches while Robin Hood is seventh with 11 points. Inter leads with 33 points, one more than Walking Boys, both from 12 matches. At the end of the 18-match schedule, the top six teams will contest a playoff to determine the champions via home-and-away matches.  Cooper also enjoyed a stint in Brazil where he played with Club Athletico Penapolence of Sao Paulo.
