Right now Boateng on fire.  Scoring some nice goals.  I always wondered how come no one came calling when he was at Portsmouth.  He has taken it up a notch since he left England.

You really think he want to be racking up all dem air miles to go to Ghana when they play at home (although the tendency is to now play matches in Europe at neutral venues)?  Boateng used the World Cup as a showcase to attract bigger teams.  Now he is doing well at Milan, he ain't want to mess that up.

This frees him up in January since he wont have to go to the African Nations Cup!

He will be back by the time the next world cup comes around!

He had no loyalty to Ghana...he use the world cup as a meal ticket.

He is a German reject and couldn't make dey squad.

If I was Ghana FA he wouldn't and couldnt sniff that team again. Fire for he!!!!

It goes both ways. But the African nation cup does fall at an odd time against the Euro calender. The man want to cement his place on the Milan team. As much as the nation cup is important, WC is more important. And that is when Ghana will need him. The Ghanaians should understand that. I think he will be back on the team. Ghana would be fools not to invite him for WC. Milan will have to release him.
