This was from Friday. Can anyone shed light on her training situation? Would like to know if this talent is in good hands.

Semoy is suppose to be the thoroughbred, but if Kai can keep breathing down her neck like that as the season goes on,, she(kai) will do special things. Especially when you take into consideration her superior 200m ability.

Michelle-lee AhyeMichelle-lee AhyePORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad - Reigning Pan American junior 100m champion Michelle Lee Ahye competed in her first ever indoor event when she ran in the women’s 60m heats at the Hilton Invitational at the University of Texas on Friday.
The three-time Carifta sprint queen was third in the first preliminary in 7.49 behind the US Virgin Islands pair of Laverne Jones-Farrette (7.16) and Allison Peters (7.49) who just edged her for the second spot. The 2011Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee’s Junior Sportswoman for 2011 was tenth quickest and advanced to the B final but did not compete. Lee Ahye is based in Texas since late last year and is reportedly training with US sprinter Bianca Knight. The 19 year old was a semifinalist at last year World Championships in Daegu, South Korea and clocked a personal best of 11.20 in the heats. She then anchored the TT’s women’s 4 x100m to fourth in the final in 42.58 after the team has set a national record of 42.50 in the heats.

Wow Kai wasn't playing today only a sophomore and doing those things. If she remains healthy which I hope she will be doing great things outdoors. Looking forward to seeing the relay team at the Olympics we'll definitely be going for that medal. Hope Semoy and MLA are ok. Coach Shaver hasn't run Semoy since the first meet and MLA hasn't run since her heat in Jan.

Kai 7th in 7.29. She had trouble with her hip when coming off the curve of the 200m the day before. So good time despite the circumstances... get well soon!
